it was a buffet place.
i was walking behind mouthy and we walked by an older gentleman.
I'm really glad you all had such a fun time. I must add that I'm very jealous , I live on the otherside of the world and would love to take Grace out to lunch!!! Maybe one day, how about it Grace you and I at the Witness now for Jesus convention and a nice meal?

I cannot remember where I read thisa A study of human behavior was done I think in England. They asked a class room full of teenagers to always pick line B no matter what the question was they then called in a guy and asked him to join the class. The had 10 straight lines of different lengths drawn on the black board. Line A was the longest. They asked the class which line was the longest and the whole class put up their hand for line B except guy who was not told to answer only B. He looked around and you could see that he was uncomfortable but also put his hand up for line B. He later said that he knew the answer was A but did not want to be different.
I think most of us are like this, we all at some stage of our lives have conformed to other peoples norm just to fit it and not draw attention to ourselves. In a mind control group this is even more likely to happen and it does.
I'm ashamed at the way I treated friends that were df. Yes, I confromed to the norm of my surroundings at the time something I hope I have learnt from and will never do again.

My thoughts on "The Sercert": I think that watching it and trying to think more positively will not harm anyone. I don't think that it is going to change your life over night. I do tend to have very negative thoughts and I feel better when I force those negative thoughts out of my mind. One thing they say on the dvd that I do believe is "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way you are right". That rings true to me. Am I going to make loads of money by thinking in this way? Maybe not, but I think I would be more open to opportunities that may come my way.

Yes we found my dog. It was a new scam, people steal the dog and then claim reward money. Thank goodness that the neighbour who saw the dog been led away was with when we went to pick him up and told us it was the same person. We did not give her the reward we reported her to the police instead. Thanks for asking.

Wow scully, that's great! This is just one of the forums that x-jws can post on. I would love to know at what rate JW are leaving the borg. It's encouraging and it means there is hope for my JW family.

I don't know they are usually so sublte when making a change that the avarge R & F don't always notice. My mom only found out about the 1914 generation change a few weeks ago because I pointed it out to her! She prepares for all the meetings a is a pioneer. If you look at the history they have had so many huge doctrine changes and still they carry on. So many that are still JW lived through the 1975 fiasco and yet they still hang on. The religion doesn't even remotely resemble what Russel taught and most of them have not even noticed or don't care. The new light theory really was genius on the part of the GB. They can change what ever no longer applies and hardly any one questions it. I think this reliogion is here to stay for a long while.
